For this 'Expose' the 'Heart' of Fashion project I have decided to look at the British Heart Foundation : Red for Heart brief. To begin my research into the brief I have decided to look at what the term 'Heart' means to me, and from this I should hopefully get a few ideas of what my photo shoot could entail.
...What does 'Heart' mean to me?
Love; happiness, being able to smile, a powerful feeling, consuming, deep.
Lust; passion, fleeting, consuming.
Compassion / Caring - putting your heart into something; having strong feelings towards something or someone.
A cause for celebration; love - weddings, children, being happy, events that you care about; charity events or business events.
The feeling of being complete; you have someones heart and they have yours.
Main organ - the most powerful part of your body - physically wise.
Strength.
Keeps you alive.
Red.
Dependant on this one thing.
There seems to be two different main areas to this theme of 'Heart'; one more towards the feelings and connotations associated with the word heart; love/ lust/ compassion/ happiness/ emotions etc, and the other is the more physical side to the term heart; an organ/ strength / blood etc.
This small brainstorm has given me a lot of different ideas to go from concerning this brief, i think i just need to choose which route I'm going to follow concerning what 'Heart' means to me.
